From their very first day in reception, Fitzy & Rossy B were destined to make some serious noise in the world of music. Best friends from the start, these two have always had a passion for rhythm, melody, and – most importantly – breaking the rules. While most of their classmates were busy with their textbooks, Fitzy & Ross were busy “working” on their music GCSE assignments… in a soundproof room. It was less about coursework and more about mixtapes (mixed by Fitzy, of course), with Ross on door duty, ready to hit the pause button at any sign of the teacher opening the door. But their rebellious streak led to something bigger. A new toy arrived at school – the music production software Dance eJay. Fitzy, grabbed a copy and immediately unlocked its secret: the ability to add a bounce sample to the program’s built-in sampler. The creative spark was lit. He called up Ross: “Let’s meet this weekend. We’re making our first track.” At just 15 years old, they produced their very first tunes: Ready or Not, Secret, Everybody’s Bouncin’, On the Beach, Silence – tracks that were not only crafted with love but also instantly signed.
